Magnolias, a Vancouver icon, are poised in a reflective geometric landscape of mirrors, echoing the downtown skyline. The two create a dichotomy between our proximity to our beautiful Pacific Northwest backdrop and our ever-evolving metropolis. This is further echoed using a contemporary take on classical painting techniques joined with digital influences to plant the work with one foot in the past, and the other in the future.
