My work takes the familiar and exalts it, plays with it & makes it part of a new conversation. The natural environment is more advanced and beautiful than anything we can invent, and it’s this divine perfection my work celebrates.

My mural work is an extension of my printwork—although I’m using paint, the line work is very similar to the marks I make with a gouge in linoleum. Just as the linoleum I’ve carved leaves an impression on the paper, similarly I hope the mural leaves an impression of my respect for the landscape.
