The concept for this mural was to come up with a location specific design as a way to reflect and capture the spirit of The Shipyards community surrounding Artigiano. To gather inspiration for the design I walked around The Shipyards taking photos of specific forms that caught my eye, curating a selection of industrial and shipyard related motifs to be abstracted. The resulting composition is an assortment of those abstracted elements intertwining, connecting and branching o one another to illustrate the vibrant expansion and evolution that The Shipyards District has undergone over the past few years.
