The concept for this mural was to come up with a location specific design as a way to reflect and capture the spirit of The Shipyards community surrounding Artigiano. To gather inspiration for the design I walked around The Shipyards taking photos of specific forms that caught my eye, curating a selection of industrial and shipyard related motifs to be abstracted. The resulting composition is an assortment of those abstracted elements intertwining, connecting and branching on one another to illustrate the vibrant expansion and evolution that The Shipyards District has undergone over the past few years.
