Sourced from 168 family-owned farms in the highlands of Bella Vista, Chiapas, this lot is the result of a powerful grassroots effort led by Rosalba Cifuentes Tovia. Raised in the very community where this coffee is grown, Rosalba founded the Mayan Harvest Women’s Group to help small-scale producers, many with plots averaging just five acres, secure better prices and greater visibility for their work.

This is the first year these women have exported their coffee independently, a milestone made possible through Rosalba’s dedication to traceability, fair compensation, and sustainability. Her meticulous attention to detail, including damage-free sampling methods, has helped farmers reduce costs and reinvest in their land and families. Each cup is a celebration of their craftsmanship and a step toward greater financial empowerment for women in coffee.
